The cursor switches to a "loading" state while the DocPilote service reads the document and queries the Mistral API.

The DocPilote service runs on a single server, operated by Prestalibre. Your documents travel over HTTPS to this server, then are immediately forwarded to the Mistral API for analysis.
Your document's content is never written to disk permanently. It's processed in memory for the duration of the analysis, then immediately discarded. Only anonymous usage statistics are kept (file format, action used, duration) — never the content.
Per Mistral AI's privacy policy, data sent through the API is not used to train their AI models. Your documents don't feed any model, neither at Mistral nor at DocPilote.
Confirmed by official Mistral docsDocPilote requires no account or login. Only a hashed IP address (non-reversible) is used to anonymously count active users — impossible to trace back to a person.
No personally identifiable data is collected or retained by DocPilote. Processing is limited to the duration of the analysis you request. You remain solely responsible for the content of the documents you choose to analyze.
